I've seen some open source projects with the terms "all rights reserved" included with the copyright notice. Its already obvious that I'm not a lawyer, but isn't this contrary to what licenses say? If I were to publish something and reserve all the rights along with the intellectual property, then others would presumably have no rights to copy, modify, or redistribute it at all, let alone under terms set forth in great licenses like the GPL or Affero GPL. Perhaps this is why Creative Commons came up with "Some Rights Reserved".
Anyone want to disagree?
