I just applied to be a beta tester for the online registration of copyrights. I plan to register copyrights for some of the software I write at Savonix, as well as some of the articles I publish at a variety of our blogs.
I'm glad the USPTO is providing online registration for copyrights, but I was disappointed to learn that they raised the fee for a basic registration. It is now $45 instead of $30, though online registration is only $35 for a limited time and scope.
If you need to copyright something, you may want to look into applying to become an electronic registration beta tester too!
